Year Of Festivals 2015 – Charity Music Fest 2015 Organised by MAH

The East coast states of Malaysia experienced one of worst flood disaster in decades that occurred end of last year. It had not only destroyed properties and personal belongings which had unbelievably ruined the lives of many poor people that may take many years for them to recover.

The Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) together with some associates of the hotel industry will be organising a charity music festival in Kuala Lumpur and target raise RM50,000 for the floods victims as part of MAH corporate social responsibility programme.

This is not the first time for MAH in raising charity fund as this kind of CSR event has become an annual contribution back to the local community.

MAH president Samuel Cheah Swee Hee said ““The flood is over, but the reconstruction job is not over yet. We have always been supportive of many charity events; in 2004, we raised about RM600,000 for the tsunami fund.”

MAH Charity Music Fest 2015 is supported by Beach Club Cafe, Trend Matrix Enterprise, Food Aid Foundation, Malaysian Association of Coffee and Tea Innovation (MACaTI), Association of Housekeeping Expertise Malaysia (AHEM), CT Wide Courier and Buddies Network (M) Sdn Bhd.

Organising Chairman S.S Rajaa hoped to attract 600 to 800 guests to come and support the Charity Music Fest to be held at Beach Club Cafe, Jalan P. Ramlee, on April 11 from 2pm to 10pm.

It is a non-stop live band performances entertainment, featuring local bands such as Vijay David, Dhol Riderz featuring Roshan “ROAR” Malli, Corn Cake Kings, Bala, SWV, D'Stags, LaViva, Union, Karma, Country Gentlemen, Sharin Band, T-Junction, Babuyramos and Take 5 featuring Mark Sylvester.



Rajaa said “Tickets are sold via F&B (food and beverage) coupons which are priced at RM15 per coupon. These coupons can be used at the Charity Music Fest 2015 to purchase food and beverages. There will be a special pre-sale price before March 23; those interested can purchase a book of 10 coupons for RM120.”

Guests will be served with scrumptious food and exciting activities are planned for throughout the jam session, such as lucky draws with great prizes to be won.

Rajaa added “We are looking forward to meet the goals of the committee in achieving a successful fund raising and hope that our guests and all who come along will enjoy the good food, good music and above all have a good time.”
